Online Advent calendars collecting children's personal information
German consumer protection advocates on Thursday warned parents to beware of online Advent calendar games for children that promise prizes to collect their personal information.
“This is vexing, because girls and boys possess only limited commercial experience,” the organisation said in a statement. “They react more spontaneously and with more emotion than adults.”
